Dialects and languages die every day, especially when we live in a world linked by computers and mass media. Nowadays the universal language of popular culture and advertising (English) is killing hundreds of dialects. Linguists estimate that every two weeks another language dies, because as the mass tourism increases, the need of the home land people to survive, leads to learning English so they can talk to the tourists to convince them to buy their products, which often leads to forgetting the primary dialect and consequently leads to his death, as linguists strive to make them survive. There are below some of the smaller languages of the world.
